Clubs

The Department supports three student organizations to develop a physics community for students.

  • Astronomy Club meets to lean about night sky observations and recent astronomy news (For more information about Astronomy Club, please contact the faculty advisor, Jon Bougie, at jbougie@luc.edu.
  • Physics Club holds regular meetings and organizes such activities as movie night, trivia night, and guided tours of Argonnne and Fermi National Laboratories.
  • Women in Physics promotes and supports the involvement of women in STEM and Physics.
