Are you a Veteran or concerned about one? The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grants
Children or dependents whose parent/guardian died as a result of military service in Iraq or Afghanistan may be eligible for an Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant. Army Health Professions Scholarship Program
The Army offers one of the most generous and comprehensive scholarships in the health care fields. The F. Edward Hebert Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) provides full tuition plus a monthly allowance. Eligible applicants must be pursuing a degree as a physician, dentist, veterinarian, optometrist, a clinical or counseling psychologist or nurse anesthetist. Anthony Castelli Attorney's Veteran's College Scholarship
The Anthony Castelli Attorney's Veteran's College Scholarship is giving away an annual scholarship awarded to a current military veteran or honorably discharged veteran or parent, sibling, child, or grandchild of a current or honorably discharged veteran. Full details of the scholarship may be found . The applicant must submit a 750–1000 word essay. The essay topic is: "The American Military's Place in Preserving Freedom for the United States."
Applications are due by Memorial Day of this year (the last Monday in March) and each succeeding Memorial Day.
VA Mortgage Center Scholarships
VA Mortgage Center.com is proud to now offer five bi-yearly $1,500 scholarships in conjunction with our Military Education Scholarship Program. The process and purpose is simple—many college students currently struggle to meet the financial requirements of pursuing their education, even with the help of financial aid and other scholarship programs. Navy Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate Program (Undergraduate)
The Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate (NUPOC) program offers up to $168,300 to college sophomores, juniors and seniors who are earning their degrees. The NUPOC program provides a regular monthly income ranging from $3,280 to $5,610 for up to 30 months prior to graduation. All majors are eligible. Learn more at .
Navy Civil Engineer Collegiate Program (Undergraduate)
The Civil Engineer Collegiate Program (CECP) offers up to $113,100 to college juniors and seniors earning their degrees. CECP provides a regular monthly income ranging from $2,575 to $4,700 for up to two years prior to graduation. Learn more at .
Navy Nurse Candidate Program (Undergraduate)
The Nurse Candidate Program (NCP) offers up to $34,000 to college juniors and seniors to help pay for nursing school. This includes an initial grant of $10,000 plus a monthly stipend of $1,000 for up to 24 months while earning your degree. Learn more at .
Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program (Graduate)
The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) covers 100% of the cost of medical school, dental school or qualifying postgraduate school tuition; provides a monthly stipend of $2,088 to cover living expenses for up to four years; plus potentially offers a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. Navy Health Services Collegiate Program (Graduate)
The Health Services Collegiate Program (HSCP) provides anywhere from $157,000 to $269,000 to students completing medical school, dental school or qualifying postgraduate school. Navy Financial Assistance Program (Graduate)
The Financial Assistance Program (FAP) provides potentially over $275,000 during a typical four-year medical or dental residency. That includes a $45,000 annual grant on top of any residency program-based salary—plus a monthly stipend of $2,088 for up to four years. The specifics of this offer depend on specialty area. $2,500 Military College Scholarship
presents a semiannual $1,250 college scholarship to a deserving military student. The scholarship is awarded to different recipients in two increments during the fall and winter semesters of each year. The company is currently accepting applicants for the 2018 Winter college scholarship.
Who can enter?
- Military students currently enrolled in college may also enter the contest and there is no age requirement for the college scholarship applicants.
- Children with a mother or father serving in any branch of the US Armed Forces are eligible to apply for the college scholarship.

Veterans United Foundation Scholarship
Veterans United Foundation, formed and fully funded by Veterans United Home Loans and its employees, strives to enhance lives by recognizing the selfless contributions of service members and their families through support of such individuals in need.
Despite the aid of benefits like the GI Bill, the ever-increasing expense of a post-secondary degree is one of the greatest challenges facing so many of our nation's finest, and in an effort to address this need, Veterans United Foundation has established the Veterans United Scholarship Program.
The program's primary goal is to assist military service members and their families by awarding up to twenty $2,000 scholarships to help pay for tuition and books each semester. Learn more at .
